Rear Lift-gate hatch pull strap will make it easier to close the rear hatch door for owners of hatchback vehicles. It was created to help those who have trouble reaching the rear hatch door on cars that do not have the automatic lift-gate. Their difficulty could be due to height or mobility impairments. It lowers the reach height of the lift-gate by about 6 inches, preventing the need to stretch or stand on tippy toes to reach to close the door. The photos are from the installation on a 2019 Subaru CrossTrek (should fit a wide range of years/models, see picture for example). Simple installation with no tools required. This strap was originally designed for my Mom’s Subaru CrossTrek. She is 5 feet tall, 70+ years old and had difficulty reaching the rear door to close it safely so we developed a solution for her as the dealership had no solution.
